Supporting Classroom Clarity is What Impact Teams is About


Clarity is everything in education. The better clarity teachers have, the better understanding students will gain.


In this video, Deanna Marco, principal of PS 9 in District 31 from NYC Public schools discuss the importance of developing an equitable, viable and coherent curriculum in supporting classroom clarity.


Principal Demarco discusses the unpacking process and how understanding the standards and developing clear tasks that are aligned with the standards is essential. She also explains how using the Impact Team protocols have helped to develop better clarity for her teachers and students.
