Often people just don’t know where to turn to get resources to understand the rich deep history that Black Americans (who have often been mistreated or ignored in society) have contributed in the US.
Here is a quick list to learn about their cultural contributions, as well as their collective struggle to be treated with the full dignity, that they and every human being deserve.

The 1619 Project and the
Time-sensitive consideration. The 1619 Project Education Network recently launched a call for applications inviting educators, administrators, content specialists, and curriculum supervisors for K-12 schools and school districts to apply for the inaugural cohort of The 1619 Project Education Network. Educators and administrators working with adults and youth in jails, prisons, or youth detention facilities are also encouraged to apply.
