Lindsay, a 5th Grader at P.S. 20 in District 31 Staten Island, NY uses a theme progression and ed tech tool, Sown To Grow, to self-assess on her current level of understanding and determine what strategies help her to be successful.
The teacher of the class explains how they developed the progression for the standard and then the student explains how it works.
Watch as Lindsay shares how the peer assessment works using the progression and why she enjoys using it. She explains how she picks her own scores and then pick the strategies that supports why.
