Jodie Mills is the Chief Academic Officer for the Caldwell School District in Caldwell, Idaho. All of Jodie’s 29 plus years of experience as an educator have been in the public education setting serving as a paraprofessional and a teacher, and in school, district and state leadership roles.
Jodie’s motivation and passion is partnering with professional learning communities at all levels to create synergistic environments for developing positive student learning and optimal success. She brings extensive experience with instructional leader mentorship and meaningful professional development. Jodie is extremely committed to providing a reciprocal relationship between expectations of learning and equal opportunities for all learners.
Jodie is most proud of the ongoing work she is doing in the Caldwell School District. This work continues to provide guaranteed and equitable access to high-impactful instruction for all students while creating a “student-owned” learning environment. Jodie has shared this journey on the national and international stage presenting at the 2018 National Visible Learning Conference in Chicago and the 2019 Visible Learning World Conference in Edinburgh, Scotland.
Jodie lives in Meridian, Idaho with her best friend Jackie. She has two grown children, Molly and Jacob. Each is on their way to successful careers in public education. Her family has recently been blessed with her first granddaughter, Lillian Marie.
