CONTINUING EDUCATION
CTLE for NYC
The Core Collaborative is an approved sponsor for Continuing Teacher and Leader Education Credits in New York City.
Acceptable CTLE must be conducted through activities designed to improve the teacher or leader’s pedagogical and/or leadership skills, targeted at improving student performance. Such activities shall promote the professionalization of teaching and educational leadership and be closely aligned to district goals for student performance.
Participating teams that would like to receive certificate of completion for professional learning events need to email a sign in with roster or requesting employees to: CTLE@thecorecollaborative.com.
How it works:

Requesting party sends in agenda and sign in to CTLE email

T.C.C will email a signed form for the educators to fill out

Educators complete the top of the form with their personal info and send back to the CTLE email address according to the instructions provided in correspondence.

Educators will be responsible for retaining certificate for verification of hours.

T.C.C will retain our records for 8 years.
Brandman Credit for Professional Learning
Educators can receive continuing education credits for TCC's professional learning events by registering with Brandman University. Although these credits aren't part of a degree program, they can be used for professional advancement such as salary increment steps and recertification.

Note: Students should seek approval of appropriate district or college officials before enrolling in these courses to satisfy any degree, state credential, or local school district requirements.
Here's how it works:

Register for course credit through Brandman University's online portal.

Once you’ve successfully registered through the portal, you will receive an initial confirmation of registration email with details on how to activate your Brandman student account.

Notify our offices at ctle@thecorecollaborative.com to let us know what courses you have enrolled in. We will verify your participation with our facilitator assigned to your school/district and submit your grade to Brandman.

After grades are posted and credits have been awarded, a final confirmation email with details on how to order your Brandman student transcript will be sent to you so please read these instructions thoroughly.

Transcripts
Every participant who registers with Brandman University will be able to order official Brandman University transcripts and retrieve unofficial transcripts through Brandman University’s online student services system. Further information about transcripts will be provided in the final confirmation email once you’ve completed a course and a grade has been posted.
